Bye Bye Beer Belly!

As promised I joined the gym yesterday, and I have just completed my first morning session! I went along last night after work, signed all the paperwork, and completed my induction. According to the instructor completing my induction to get rid of the beer gut I need to be doing "at least" 30 minutes of cardio as well as resistance work. So after I had been shown around I decided to stay on for a bit of a work out; I set myself up for 15 mins on the cross trainer which was struggle but I just about managed it. Went off to do some resistance work, but it was quite busy so being already knackered I only hung around to use 2 machines, before then setting myself up for another 15 mins on the cross trainer. I did not manage to finish that final 15 minutes, I thought I was going to throw up!!!! I managed around 10, then beat a hasty retreat to the showers, went home and was still sweating - nice!
I met my colleague "eagerly" (!) at 6:45 this morning, and I'm glad to report that I did manage 30 mins of cardio work as well as working my way around a number of weights machines. And this without my life passing before my eyes, just about! As for feeling energised for the day ahead? I'll give it a couple of weeks!
