Slowly But Surely

You may recall me saying in an earlier blog that rehearsals for our summer concerts are underway, and that we have been having trouble with the finale of the Guys and Dolls medley. We had another rehearsal on Monday and I am relieved to say that things seem to be coming together and we are getting there with the "Sit Down Your Rockin' The Boat" cannon. There is still some work to be done, and it seems that as you get the hang of one thing, the harmonies that you thought you had down in other numbers seem to escape you entirely!With 5 more rehearsals until our first concert I can imagine that emotions may be running high in the weeks to come!On another note (excuse the pun!) I am currently driving my colleagues up the wall with songs from Joseph and His Technicolour Dreamcoat. I have tickets to go and see a touring production of it tonight, and as my colleagues are now aware I am looking forward to it! I've never seen this show before, but have always liked the songs so tonight should be fun.
