Tomorrow night is the final of the Joseph "Any Dream Will Do" competition. I have unfortunately missed a lot of this series; I seem to have developed something of a social life over recent weeks. But it does look like we are having a quiet tomorrow night, so I am looking forward to settling down in front of the TV for the final. (Now I've said that something is bound to come up!)
My money is on Lee. With Lee, Keith and Lewis left, I cannot see that Lewis is in with a chance, and Keith is just not right for this particular part. Lewis is awful, he has an OK voice, but is so needy which is not an attractive trait in anything but small puppies! Also, he has been in the bottom two so many times it is clear that he is not the publics' choice.
Lee however has done very well throughout the competition. I did have my doubts about him as he has worked on the West End before as the understudy for Raoul in Phantom of the Opera - a fantastic role which has one of my favourite musical theatre numbers (All I Ask of You). I didn't think it was right for someone who has worked professionally on the West End before to be included in the competition, but I have since found out that it is not often that understudies get to perform on stage and Lee never has - so fair play to him, he deserves this as much as anyone, if not more and I hope he does well.

Lee is the 'safe choice' for ALW. He will do a decent job. But it doesn't really matter who he chooses now, as he will have pre-sold enough tickets to make the show critic proof. He could put Graham Norton in as Joseph and it would still do well. Whoever wins, Lewis will blub.
