Held Hostage On Kingswood

Last night, having a window in my busy schedule, I got together with my best mate Dave, who had I not have seen last night I would have been unlikely to see until the middle of August!
We went off to the cinema, which we used to do on a fairly regular basis, but due to various commitments we have not had the opportunity to go out for quite a while.
The film of choice was Hostel 2, seeing as rightly or wrongly (depending on your personal viewpoint) Dave and I do like to watch disgusting films, with the intention of being as disturbed by the action as possible! Well, I hate to say but this was not the film to do it, in fact I would go as far as to say that it was verging on dull. If you can say that someone getting a buzz saw in the head is dull!
The first Hostel film was OK, it had some moments of gruesomeness, and surprisingly, actually had a storyline. These were two things that were lacking in the second installment. We both said that there were a couple of points where we were wincing ready for something horrible that never happened. Most disappointing, like when you can feel a sneeze that never comes!
Although the film kept us occupied for an hour and a half, and we weren't bored, we were both grateful that our tickets were two for one. Thank the Lord for Orange Wednesdays!
