And so it goes on!

Again it has been a while since my last post. And again it is pretty much the same reason; I have been busy busy busy.
It is the new year for Hessle Theatre Company. It's really funny, it almost runs like academic years. We have just started our rehearsals for our next show at the New Theatre, Barnum. There is supposedly a summer break during August after the concerts before starting the rehearsals for the new show, which is when in effect is when the new year starts, so Titanic was last year to us, even though that was only March. It's strange how time works. Sometimes Titanic feels like last week, other times it feels like years ago. We now have the challenge of matching the success of Titanic with Barnum.
You will notice that I have added "Forthcoming Productions" to the main page of my blog to keep you up to date of what we are up to, along with the link to our website. I hope if some of you are in the area, we will see you there, and even if you are not in the area it'll be worth the trip (he says confidently!).
None of what I have said will come as a surprise when I say at our recent AGM I was elected on to our company's committee, after being a co-optee for a couple of months, as a publicity officer. Therefore I will be using this site for unashamed plugs for everything Hessle Theatre gets up to!
I will also try to post a little more regularly!
Tonight Katherine is coming over to our new house to have a bit of a rehearsal for our scene in "Mixed Doubles". You may remember me posting about the rather chaotic rehearsals that we have had where we could not stop laughing. We are starting to overcome that, slightly. And I am even making progress with learning the lines, which is an absolute miracle with everything that I have going on at the moment! So I hope to have some positive news based on upcoming rehearsals. If not I may just emigrate to avoid humiliation!!!!! I HOPE to speak to you soon!
