I Love To Laugh!

We had another rehearsal for Mixed Doubles last night, although to be honest I actually wasn't called, however Katherine was called and we thought it would be a good opportunity to go through our scene together.
You know how you sometimes meet people who really seem to bring out the worst in you, the inner child and all that? Well, Katherine is that person! When we are in the same room as each other mischief generally ensues. I generally don't have a problem with this, because I like it! Katherine is one of those genuinely funny people, who is funny without even trying. The problem that I do have is having to act opposite her and having to deliver comedic lines remaining deadpan, but having to look her in the eye while doing it. The last few times that we have practiced we have ended up in fits of giggles and we have been hoping that as we progress we will get used to (and possibly even get bored of) the jokes. After last night's rehearsal this does not seem to be the case. Not only are we not getting bored of the jokes, we seem to be finding new ones. Katherine has said that she thinks that come the real performance, we will be shit scared and this will override the laughing, I wish I could be so confident.
It has to be said though, that we have not had that much time to practice, so maybe once we get going time will tell.
On another note, and slightly related, it looks like our house move will be going ahead on Thursday, so Laura and I are starting to get quite excited now, even if this does mean the upheaval of having to do all the packing - which I hate! Once we have moved house I can then start concentrating on learning my lines more, and be in a better position to arrange rehearsals with Katherine and Laura (not my wife, there are far too many Laura's in my life!).
In the meantime, if anyone has any tips on how to stop Katherine and I laughing so much PLEASE let me know!
